This year cycling fans, avid weekend warriors, and friends & family of the photographers have shared their photos far and wide, in a bid to win the Fan’s Favourite photo.
As always, we’re raising money for cancer research for Tour de Cure. And we hope to raise a heap this year.
I hope you enjoy this weeks selection of Professional and Amateur photos.

A young fan cheers on riders as they compete in the time trial during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France, July 27, 2024. I had all the photos I needed of the riders I was covering so started looking to the crowd for pictures, and despite the rain I was lucky to find an enthusiastic family. | Photo by Nick Iwanyshyn @nickiwanyshyn |

Another self-portrait from the same Bethel, Maine project. New England forests are densely covered and don’t offer a whole lot of vistas of the surrounding landscape. I found a corner on this granite slab that managed a small glimpse of the northern Appalachians behind my shoulder and really enjoy how this turned out. | Photo by Brice Shirbach @bricycles |

Alex Baudin Tour of Guangxi The young cyclist crosses the finish line out of breath after an agonizing and painful last km. | Photo by Iraia Calvo @iraiacalvophoto |

This was taken during one of Sarah’s many training rides ahead of the 2024 Transcontinental Race. We started just after 4am which gave me the opportunity to capture her silhouetted against this amazing sunrise. I love how it takes a moment for the eye to pick her out from amongst the trees, forcing you to linger on the photo until she becomes clear. | Photo by James Busby @jamesbusbyimages |

Venezuelan cyclist Lilibeth Chacon (Pato Bike BMC) prepares to stand on the podium after taking the victory in the fifth stage of the Vuelta a Colombia Femenina 2024. | Photo by Cristian Perez @iinkdustrial |

I photographed the middle section of the velodrome track from the very top when I climbed onto the technical scaffold of the roof. All the boxes where the riders are located are like a small town, during the Polish Cup in track cycling. | Photo by Tomasz Seruga @tomaszseruga |

At this point of the Ken Harrod Memorial Road Race the skies opened up. Two riders were off the front of the men’s 1/2/3 race this lap. I was trying to get a different perspective of the challenge of riding in the deluge. | Photo by Katie Busick @KatieBusickPhotography |

The peloton chasing down a strong breakaway at the Grand Prix de Quebec, up the famous Cote de la Montagne. This was my first time being able to spectate this race in person and see many of the world’s best cyclists up close. The old city of Quebec transports spectators to the cobble climbs of Europe and the feeling was electric. Absolutely unreal. | Photo by Filip Funk @filipfunkphoto |

Tour De France Stage 7. Fans are the heart of the TDF and what truly drive the overall atmosphere and experience. After scouting the perfect spot for the GC favourites, I settled on capturing the group of french fans in their matching tour merch whilst Remco soared past.| Photo by Nate Rawsthorne @nate.r_photography |

Lincoln Grand Prix finish, shot through the window of the iconic Rapha H Van. Hundreds of people attend the GP every year and it’s always a spectacle to watch.| Photo by Paul Dowker @pauldowker |

A ride up Teide in the glow of the setting sun was a truly magical experience. The route wound through a rugged volcanic landscape that seemed to come alive in warm shades of orange, pink, and gold. Every kilometer revealed new sights—jagged rocks, fields of solidified lava, and vast expanses that took on an almost surreal charm in the sunset light. The air was crisp, and a gentle breeze brought energy as we made our way toward the majestic volcano. As the sun dipped below the horizon, shadows grew longer, and the surrounding silence emphasized the grandeur of the place. It wasn’t just a journey—it was a moment filled with freedom, adventure, and awe at the beauty of nature, one I will undoubtedly remember for a long time.| Photo by Maciej Grzybowski @cyclingmill |
